About  GM  Danielson

BIO

Grant Danielson has been voice acting since childhood. His parents exposed him to the mysterious wonders of British literature and television in grade school--a priceless experience that ultimately shaped his love of books, and the art of reading and writing them. His childhood was punctuated by frequent adventures around the house where he played as his alter ego, Edmund Pevensie, along with his other siblings, in the process learning to speak with a British accent--a habit that followed him into adulthood.

At heart a writer and deep thinker, Danielson only recently discovered the popular world of the audiobook. Though he maintained a fascination with audiobooks as a teen, his desire to narrate his own stories came with the discovery of the creepypasta subgenre of horror fiction. After accidentally finding the popular story The Russian Sleep Experiment and hearing voice acting veteran Otis Jiry narrate Pickman's Model, he began laying the foundation of what would become Horror Readings by G.M. Danielson.

Danielson's pet project, Horror Readings by G.M. Danielson began with a singular vision: to offer listeners and aesthetes of horror an unusually personalized experience. A strong believer in the social component of business, Danielson spends a great portion of his efforts replying and corresponding with his many fans and supporters. In a world where meaningful social interaction is an ever-changing -- and, to some, a declining -- art form, Horror Readings by G.M. Danielson stands as a rare gem among many glass substitutes.

Danielson currently resides in an undisclosed place of dark suspicions, where, in the chilling, cramped tower that comprises his nightly confines, he narrates, edits--and on occasion writes--his way through the mists of horror fiction.

– Andrei Tarkovsky

“Out of dark aeons emerge the terrors that shape our future.”
